Nice living room with dvd player. Central location. Quite comfortable beds
Shabby outside, full of bin bags. Can't sleep as can hear everything from outside and the other apartment doors banging shut.
The room was very central and the weather was gorgeous.
The apartment was located a 10 minute walk from where the key was collected. The apartment looked modern on arrival but it soon became clear that the decoration was superficial. The bedroom was tiny - you need to climb over the bed to get to the other side as there is no room at the end of the bed. If you were taller than 5'6 you could not have a shower standing up - I am 5'6 and my head was touching the shower head making it difficult to wash my hair. The apartment was situated directly above the tour bus start so very noisy during the day and next door to a very nice pub that was far from quiet during drinking hours
Your executives was very courteous and promptly helped us in the best possible manner whenever was required. I specifically would like to mention here my gratitude towards Mr. Gulab who helped my family friend, Mr. Pankaj Mandpe (who was with his wife and a 4 yr old son) in getting the best rate for a last minute booking and that too as late as 22:30 hrs.
We would have liked if house keeping was done on a daily basis (we were informed that the same is done only in case of booking at least for 7 nights). This was essential at least when we use to return from day long touring. I hope that you also would appreciate my concern.
Nothing!! The rooms were very tiney, the carpeting filthy, the access doorway had human waste dumps tow out of three mornings. Absolutely horrible.
See above comments plus have to go into a small retail business and stand among wares to wait for someone to take you to the rooms which are 4 blocks away pulling luggage along.
The location was amazing and the size of the apartment was great. I really enjoyed it.
Considering that the apartment should fit 6 people, there is only room for 4 people in the living room.
Great location. The apartment was modern with good facilities. Its always handy having you're own kitchen, esp when its an extended stay.
It took some searching and asking around to find out where to check in. There was no signs and all you have to go on is a vague address. It ended up being a souvenir shop. Was all a bit strange. The temperature control in the shower was faulty. It was either to hot or to cold.
poor service, not easy to find coz the way entrance is so poor
need extra deposit for 200 pounds in cash or credit block 200 pounds . /The room 's smelly coz it's new decoration.
Room was very clean and organized
The fact that there wasn't a reception was quite unbelievable. And I paid my money to a gift shop on the street through their credit card machine. The address I was given doesn't even exist on the street!
We seemed to be some of the first guests to stay here. Apartment was obviously newly done and very clean and well equipped, although not sure how well furnishings will stand up to frequent use.
Concerned about lack of smoke detectors etc. Apartment is on 3rd floor accessed via a spiral staircase. No smoke detectors in either the apartment or the stairwell, no fire escape ladders or means to getting out of apartment if a fire were to start. Also no change of towels even though we were there for 5 days/4 nights.
Clean and good location if travelling with others not on own as backstreet entrance
I did not like that the location is not as shown on map. Map shows where check-in takes place...which is in a shop on the main street. Actual apt. is still a good location but is off a side street, up a dark stairwell which I would not recommend walking to alone after dark.
great location, very clean and helpful staff!
Entrance to the location is very dull and scary!
The location was fantastic, ideal for central Edinburgh. The apartment was lovely, everything you needed, and very nicely furnished. Nice to have your own space when travelling with a family (one two-year old) more play space than when staying in a hotel. Would definately use again if visiting Edinburgh.
We had a couple of problems regulating the temperature in the shower, either no heat of very hot, but mentioned this to the owners, and they were going to get someone to have a look same day - if they did - then no problems at all - a lovely stay!!
Location is perfect, all the attractions of Edinburgh are accessible by walking. The view was also great (we were on the third floor).
No elevator, we were on the third floor and had to climb up the baby stroller every day
Best apartment I have ever stayed in. Nice staff, excellent room and location.
The location and the bed.
First of all I thought I had booked a 2 bed apartment. My partner arrived to find: 1). A one bed apartment (a sofa and a TV stuffed into a kitchenette to create an appartment!). 2) 4th floor without a lift 3) Very scruffy entrance 4). Door bell not working so when I arrived it required a phone call and 2 x 4 floors again. 5). No corkscrew (but 4 floors again so went out for a drink! For the 2nd bedroom I was then put in a flat some 10 minutes walk away. The entrance and the hall-way had not seen a cleaner for many weeks and looked like the entrance of a slum building. For this I had to pay an extra GBP 120. I would have been better off in the IBIS opposite at half the price.
